Tonight’s story, where your kid is the hero.
Every night the library opens one fresh branching story — the same tale for every family, shaped by three choices into eight different tellings. Original to this library, kind by construction, over in about five minutes.
Questions people ask
Is the story really the same for everyone tonight?
Yes — the date itself picks tonight’s world, companion, and quest, so a reader in any timezone opens the same tale (nights turn over at midnight UTC). Your choices are your own, and different choices find different endings.
Where do the stories come from?
From a fixed library of original fragments — scenes, choices, endings — all written and reviewed before the site shipped. Each night a small deterministic program deals them into a fresh combination; nothing is improvised while you read, and nothing you type is sent anywhere.
Is it safe for small kids?
That is the whole design: gentle suspense only, no violence, no scary endings — every path ends warm. The hero’s name stays in your browser, there are no accounts, and there is no chat with anything.
